Tricolor ТV
Tricolor TV is Russia’s largest satellite TV provider. It has provided digital TV services throughout the European part of Russia since 2005 as well as the territories of The Urals, Siberia and The Far East since 2007. Artificial Earth satellites, Eutelsat W4 and Eutelsat W7 (36° E), are used for broadcasting over the European part of Russia and Bonum-1 (56° E) satellite is broadcasting for Eastern regions (Tricolor TV Siberia project).
With the help of satellite technologies, Tricolor TV makes multi-channel digital television available even in the most remote corners of the country where regular television reception is difficult. Tricolor TV audiences accounted for over 20 million viewers (about 7 million families) in 2010.

Eutelsat W4 satellite is located at 36° degrees East.
This satellite was launched on the 25th of May 2000. The satellite is owned by The Eutelsat Company.
In order to receive channels included in the Tricolor TV package you need to install a satellite antenna with a diameter of 0.6 m to 0.9 m, the size depends on your location. In order to determine which size of antenna you need please refer to the signal coverage map for the Eutelsat W4 Satellite.

TV mail
With this new service you can view text messages and pictures that were sent to you via e-mail right onto your TV screen. Currently you need Internet access for sending messages; you can also create and send e-mails from your cell phone (via SMS, MMS or the wap.tricolor.tv WAP site).
The new service is essential for those who live in remote corners of the country that do not have the opportunity to contact friends and relatives in a conventional way. You can send not only text messages, but pictures as well – it is a great opportunity to always stay in touch.
- TV Internet
Since the 1st of February, 2010, Russia’s largest satellite TV provider has launched the new Tricolor Internet service. In order to access the Internet you need to connect a special satellite modem to your computer. Activation of the new service does not require any adjustment to the current receiving equipment.
- TV Guide (EPG)
The Electronic Program Guide is a digital TV guide displayed on the TV screen. This TV Guide displays program schedules for each Tricolor TV channel along with additional information, such as: TV program genre, year of creation, cast, age ratings etc. The TV guide is available several days ahead of transmission.
- TV chat
TV chat is a service for displaying messages sent via cell phone or Internet into a special window on the TV screen. Chat allows online communication with other viewers, the exchange of opinions on what is happening on the screen and to share impressions. The service is available on "Veseloe TV" and "TV Voyages" channels.
- WAP site
The Tricolor TV wap site is located at: wap.tricolor.tv. Wap site users have access to:
- News.
- TV guide for all Tricolor TV channels for the current week.
- Authorized Tricolor TV retailer (installer) lists for every region.
- Karaoke
Well known, popular Karaoke songs and titles are translated daily on Tricolor TV and Tricolor TV Siberia informational channels. The service is free for all Tricolor TV subscribers.
- "Choosing Soundtrack" service
Infochannel viewers can choose between two soundtracks: the main one which accompanies the video on the main screen and an additional one. After switching to the additional track you will hear the sound being transmitted from one of the channels of the paid "Optimum" package, these are transmitted into the 5 windows on the screen.
